A lot of people have different… I come from different backgrounds, different experiences about dentistry. Everybody tends to have an experience. Sometimes it's not so good, sometimes it's great. Regular dental checkups are super important, mostly to know where things are going. If the teeth are going to be wearing, if the gum tissue of the bacteria in the mouth keep increasing, yes, we do our best at trying to knock that down as we brush and floss and do great oral home care. But there will still build up when that calculus and target builds up. It just naturally happens with all of us. Getting the bacteria under control, getting the biting forces under control. If we can do those two things, your chances go way up on being able to keep your teeth a lifetime. Making uncomfortable and perceive for people as they go along, I think, starts with understanding where people are coming from, their past experiences, their anticipation, what are they expecting to have happened. That goes a long way in knowing what we can do to help people have a good experience.
